Mike returned my call for assistance within a few hours, he inspected the damage from the recent storm and sent me an estimate within hours. The work was completed the next day just ahead of more storms. He explained the entire process and was very professional. I hope I don’t need his services again anytime soon, but would not hesitate to trust the job to his team.Posted on Google![]()

Tycho Solutions recently replaced the original tile roof on our 23 year old residence. We could not be more pleased with their level of professionalism and the quality of work. Mike and Brock were great in explaining the process, the type of materials used, and what to expect. Their crew was cordial, friendly, and efficient. At the end of each day they used a magnetic device to retrieve discarded nails and fasteners, made sure all debris was inside their dumpster, and used a blower to eliminate the inevitable dust that results from replacing a roof. At the end of the project, they did a roof-top inspection of the work to make sure all details were addressed. We felt their pricing was very reasonable with top-notch customer service. We have no hesitation to refer them to friends!
Paradise Valley’s stock leans toward large custom estates built across many decades, with long exposed elevations facing full sun and little shade from neighboring structures on big lots. Standard acrylic paint chalks and fades years early on south and west walls, and stucco applied without a correctly placed control joint telegraphs hairline cracks as the substrate expands and contracts between a 115 degree afternoon and a cool desert night.
Once cracking reaches the lath or a coating has chalked past a light, color-matched touch-up, a spot repair leaves a visible patch line on a wall this size. The fix is stripping back to a sound substrate and running a full finish coat across the whole elevation so color and sheen read as one surface.
We strip failing paint and stucco back to sound substrate and finish coat the whole elevation, never a color-mismatched patch over a crack.
Paradise Valley’s large custom estates call for interior painting, exterior coatings, stucco, and drywall handled by one crew from framing to final coat.
New construction painting on a Paradise Valley custom home starts before drywall texture is even dry, coordinating primer and finish coats around HVAC rough-in, cabinetry, and trim so the crew isn’t repainting a wall a subcontractor just dinged. We spec low VOC interior systems and full coverage exterior coatings sized for large, uninterrupted elevations, and we push color approval early so it never stalls the build schedule.
New stucco installation on a Paradise Valley estate means base and finish coats applied over a full lath system tied into the framing, not a thin coating sprayed over existing sheathing. We detail control joints at every plane change and window buck so the finish doesn’t telegraph a crack line across a 40 foot elevation, and we match texture and reveal depth to the rest of the home before the final coat goes on.
Drywall installation on Paradise Valley’s estate scale new builds covers long clear span great rooms, guest casitas, and detached structures that need their own fire rated and sound rated assemblies where they share a wall with the main house. We hang, tape, and finish to Level 5 on the runs that catch raking light from tall windows, and we sequence around framing and MEP rough-in so nothing gets textured before it’s inspected.
As a commercial painting contractor for Paradise Valley’s boutique retail centers and hospitality properties, we work around business hours instead of closing storefronts during a repaint, and we spec commercial grade coatings built for high touch entries and covered walkways. New construction commercial work gets the same full system approach as our residential jobs: base coat, finish coat, and a written workmanship warranty on the install.
Builders working Paradise Valley’s custom lots need a painting and stucco crew that can read a substrate problem before it becomes a warranty callback, sequence around framing and window install without holding up the schedule, and match color and texture across a home with no small elevations to hide a mismatch.
Every stucco and paint system we install in Paradise Valley carries a written workmanship warranty, so a hairline crack or early fade gets fixed, not re-quoted.
A single project manager tracks paint, stucco, and drywall crews on every Paradise Valley build, keeping color and texture consistent start to finish.
We spec elastomeric and heat reflective coatings rated for Paradise Valley’s sun exposure, not a builder grade flat paint that chalks out in two summers.
Tycho Solutions carries Arizona ROC #364735 with full bonding and insurance, verified before any crew starts a Paradise Valley job.
Paradise Valley’s lots run larger and further apart than the East Valley subdivisions we also work in, which means most homes here were custom designed rather than built off a builder’s stock plan. No two elevations use quite the same stucco texture, reveal depth, or trim color, so matching an addition or a re-coat to the existing finish takes a walkthrough with the crew before a drop of paint goes on the wall.
On these estates the failure almost always starts at a transition: where stucco meets a window buck, a parapet cap, or a foam trim band. That’s where different materials expand at different rates through the valley’s swing between a 115 degree afternoon and a cool desert night, so the coating cracks there first. Left uncaught, wind driven monsoon rain tracks behind the finish coat and reaches the lath and sheathing before anyone sees a stain indoors.
Paradise Valley also runs some of the stricter exterior design review standards in the valley, so color and texture changes on many properties need sign off before a crew opens a bucket. We build that approval step into the schedule up front rather than after the fact, and we favor stucco and coating systems with a track record of holding a specific pigment and texture through review without a re-sample.

Arizona ROC #364735, fully bonded and insured for new construction and full-system work across Paradise Valley.
Paint, stucco, and drywall run under one crew and one schedule on every Paradise Valley project.
Elastomeric and heat reflective systems specified for Paradise Valley’s sustained triple digit sun exposure.
New construction painting and stucco phases scheduled to keep Paradise Valley builds on time and on budget.
Cost depends on square footage, ceiling height, and how much of the home is open great room versus separated rooms, since tall uninterrupted walls take more prep and more coats to hide roller marks under raking light. We don’t publish a flat rate because no two Paradise Valley estates share a floor plan or trim package. A walkthrough gets you a written number tied to your actual home, not a per square foot guess.
A hairline crack that stays inside one panel and hasn’t reached the lath can sometimes be sealed and color matched. Once cracking runs through a control joint, wraps a corner, or shows up at a window buck, a patch buys you a season at best because the substrate underneath is already moving. At that point new stucco installation in Paradise Valley, stripped back to sound sheathing and lath, is the fix that actually holds.
Yes. Exterior painting in Paradise Valley on a flat or low-slope roof home usually means coating the parapet walls and cap flashing too, since that’s where the stucco or paint system meets the roofing system and takes the most sun and water exposure. We coordinate that transition with whoever is doing the roof work so the coating and the flashing detail don’t fight each other.
Yes. Paradise Valley’s commercial footprint leans toward boutique retail, spas, and small hospitality properties rather than office parks, so we schedule around business hours and use commercial grade coatings rated for high traffic entries and covered walkways. New build commercial work gets full base and finish coat systems, the same standard we hold residential jobs to.
Yes to both. Drywall installation in Paradise Valley on a new build is covered under the building permit already pulled for framing, and we work under that same inspection sequence rather than treating it as a separate trade. Tycho Solutions holds Arizona ROC #364735 as a licensed, bonded, and insured contractor, so the permit and the inspections carry our license number, not a sub’s.
A painter who only paints can’t always tell you whether a peeling wall is a paint problem or a stucco substrate problem underneath it, and a drywall crew that’s never coordinated with a stucco crew can miss a control joint that should line up between the two systems. New construction painting in Paradise Valley goes faster and holds up longer when one crew answers for catching that kind of issue before it becomes a callback.
