Mike returned my call for assistance within a few hours, he inspected the damage from the recent storm and sent me an estimate within hours. The work was completed the next day just ahead of more storms. He explained the entire process and was very professional. I hope I don’t need his services again anytime soon, but would not hesitate to trust the job to his team.Posted on Google![]()

Tycho Solutions recently replaced the original tile roof on our 23 year old residence. We could not be more pleased with their level of professionalism and the quality of work. Mike and Brock were great in explaining the process, the type of materials used, and what to expect. Their crew was cordial, friendly, and efficient. At the end of each day they used a magnetic device to retrieve discarded nails and fasteners, made sure all debris was inside their dumpster, and used a blower to eliminate the inevitable dust that results from replacing a roof. At the end of the project, they did a roof-top inspection of the work to make sure all details were addressed. We felt their pricing was very reasonable with top-notch customer service. We have no hesitation to refer them to friends!
Gold Canyon sits at the base of the Superstition Mountains, so most homes carry stucco exteriors built to handle rock lots, tight grading, and long west facing exposure toward the foothills. That west sun bakes acrylic finish coats hard, and monsoon downpours drive moisture into hairline cracks at window returns, expansion joints, and foam trim, opening gaps that widen every summer.
Once a crack telegraphs through the finish coat, color and texture never match on a small section, so we scope re-stucco by full elevation rather than by crack. New color coats get sprayed corner to corner on one wall plane so sheen, texture, and pigment read as one surface instead of a visible seam.
We scope every re-stucco and repaint by full wall plane, not by crack, so new color and texture never show a seam in direct Gold Canyon sun.
Tycho Solutions installs and finishes interior paint, exterior coatings, drywall, and stucco for new construction and full remodels across Gold Canyon, matching the desert heat and stucco heavy building style common throughout the area.
On new construction in Gold Canyon we sequence interior paint around the framing and drywall schedule: primer coat once drywall finish is signed off, then two coats of wall color and a separate enamel pass on trim and doors so the crew is never fighting dust from other trades still on site.
New stucco installation in Gold Canyon starts with paper backed lath fastened to the sheathing, then a scratch coat, brown coat, and a finish texture chosen to match neighboring elevations already up in the area. We time each coat to cure fully in the heat before the next pass goes on, so the wall does not crack from being rushed.
As a commercial painting contractor in Gold Canyon we schedule interior and exterior work around a tenant’s build out timeline, coating retail and office space to Class A finish standards while coordinating with electricians and flooring crews on the same job site so nobody’s schedule slips.
For resale homes near the mountains, our house painters in Gold Canyon handle full interior repaints and exterior stucco refinishing where years of direct sun have chalked and faded the original color coat. We match existing trim and door finishes or help pick a new palette for a full exterior refresh.
Builders and homeowners in Gold Canyon call us because one crew handles interior paint, exterior coatings, drywall, and stucco on a single schedule, so color, texture, and finish level stay consistent from the first coat to the final walkthrough, with no separate trades to coordinate or blame.
Every re-stucco and full re-coat comes with a written warranty against cracking and finish failure, backed by materials rated for Gold Canyon’s sun and monsoon cycle.
One project manager schedules drywall, texture, and paint crews back to back on new Gold Canyon builds, so framing to final coat stays on the builder’s timeline.
We spec high build acrylic systems and moisture cured stucco finishes rated for direct desert sun, not the thinner coatings sold for milder climates.
Tycho Solutions carries Arizona ROC #364735, bonded and insured for every interior, exterior, drywall, and stucco job we run in Gold Canyon.
Gold Canyon runs from resale homes built in the 1980s and 1990s up against the mountains to production and custom builds farther out toward Apache Junction, nearly all finished in traditional three coat stucco over lath or in synthetic EIFS foam systems on newer construction. Older stucco has thinner original coats and years of prior color layers, so it holds heat and moves differently than a fresh install, which changes how we prep it for a full re-coat.
On these homes the failure almost always starts at movement joints, foam trim returns, and parapet caps rather than the open wall field. Those transition points flex with heat swings and take direct water during monsoon storms, so the finish coat cracks there first, then migrates into the field if it goes unaddressed. West and south elevations facing open desert take the worst of it, since afternoon sun holds well past 100 degrees on the stucco surface for hours.
Most Gold Canyon communities sit under an HOA that controls exterior color palettes and requires committee approval before a repaint or re-stucco job starts, often limiting choices to a fixed set of earth tone families. We pull the approved palette and submit color samples ahead of scheduling, so the crew arrives with sign off in hand instead of stalling a project midstream.

Tycho Solutions is licensed under Arizona ROC #364735, fully bonded and insured for painting, drywall, and stucco work in Gold Canyon.
Interior paint, exterior coatings, drywall, and stucco run on one schedule with one point of contact for the whole job.
Coatings and stucco finishes are specified for direct sun and wide temperature swings typical of Gold Canyon summers.
We sequence drywall, paint, and stucco crews so builders in Gold Canyon hit move in dates without rework or delay.
Cost depends on square footage, ceiling height, how many colors are involved, and whether we’re painting new drywall or repainting an existing home. New construction interior painting in Gold Canyon usually prices out per room based on the finish level called for on the plans, while an existing home gets priced after we walk the space and check the condition of the current paint and drywall.
If a crack has only opened the surface finish coat, we can often re-coat a defined section and blend the texture. Once cracking has gone through to the lath or foam, or it’s spread across more than one wall plane, color and texture will never match section to section, so we scope it as new stucco installation in Gold Canyon on that elevation instead of chasing individual cracks over time.
Most communities in Gold Canyon require committee sign off on exterior colors before work starts, usually limited to a set list of approved earth tone families. Exterior painting in Gold Canyon through us includes pulling the current approved palette and submitting your color choice ahead of scheduling, so the crew isn’t standing by waiting on a committee decision once the job is on the calendar.
We work as a commercial painting contractor in Gold Canyon on retail centers, offices, and other tenant spaces, scheduling interior and exterior work around a builder’s or property manager’s construction timeline rather than a homeowner’s calendar. That includes coordinating with electrical, flooring, and other trades on site so painting doesn’t hold up the rest of the buildout.
Yes. Tycho Solutions operates under Arizona ROC #364735, and we’re bonded and insured for painting, drywall, and stucco work. Most repaint and re-coat jobs don’t require a permit, but new stucco systems, structural drywall changes, and new construction work do, and we pull those permits directly with Pinal County or the applicable jurisdiction as part of the job rather than leaving that step to the homeowner.
Yes, we work directly with builders and framers on new builds, picking up drywall installation in Gold Canyon right after framing inspection and carrying the job through texture, primer, and finish coats on the same schedule. One crew stays on the job from hung board to final walkthrough, so the builder isn’t coordinating separate drywall, paint, and stucco subs.
