Tycho Solutions is a licensed roofing company serving communities across the Valley and beyond, building complete roof systems for new custom homes, commercial developments and full roof replacements on established properties, from the first nail to final inspection.
A roof in the Valley is not a cover, it is the part of the building that takes the most punishment. Deck temperatures on an Arizona rooftop run far above ambient air temperature through the peak summer months, which is exactly the load the assembly has to survive for decades, not just the day it goes on.
That covers tile roof replacement on established homes, spray foam roofing on low-slope and flat sections, metal roof installation on contemporary builds, and architectural shingle systems on pitched roofs. We do not chase small patch work. Taking a roof back to the deck is what lets us stand behind the result and register the manufacturer warranty, which a patch can never do.
Complete roof systems, taken back to the deck, not minor patch repairs.
Arizona ROC #364735, residential and commercial, general liability and workers compensation carried.
New construction roofing worked from the architectural plans, not improvised on site. We review the roof plan for slope, drainage and penetration layout before the deck goes down, then hold the dry-in date the builder schedules against.
Concrete and clay tile roof replacement taken down to the deck. Most Valley tile roofs fail at the underlayment long before the tile itself does, so the tile comes off, the deck is inspected, and the whole waterproofing layer goes back new.
Spray foam roofing for flat and low-slope sections, applied as one seamless layer with no fasteners and no seams to open. Foam is sprayed to fall so water leaves the roof instead of ponding, then sealed under a reflective top coat.
Standing seam metal roof installation with concealed clips, so the panels move as they expand and contract instead of working the fasteners loose. High-temperature underlayment underneath, because a metal panel in Arizona sun runs hot enough to cook an ordinary felt.
Shingle roof replacement using architectural laminate shingles rated for Valley wind events. We balance intake and ridge ventilation as part of the job, because an unvented attic bakes a shingle roof from underneath and shortens it by years.
Commercial roofing for office buildings, retail centers, industrial shells and multi-family developments. Single-ply and built-up systems installed on new development and on occupied buildings, sequenced so tenants keep trading.
We install roof systems, not roof coverings. Controlling the full assembly on a new build or a complete replacement is what lets every layer be specified to work with the one under it, and it is why our work carries a real manufacturer warranty instead of a workmanship promise alone. General contractors keep calling us back for the unglamorous reason: we hit the dry-in date.
Manufacturer system warranty registered on completion, backed by our own workmanship warranty.
A dedicated project manager holds the schedule and coordinates with the framing, stucco and solar trades.
Materials sourced from manufacturers whose systems we are certified to install and warrant.
Yes, complete roof replacement on existing homes is most of what we do. We strip the old system down to the deck, inspect and repair the sheathing, and install a whole new assembly. We do not do minor patch repairs, because a patch cannot be warranted and it usually buys a season.
Concrete and clay tile, architectural laminate shingles, standing seam metal, spray polyurethane foam for flat and low-slope roofs, and TPO or PVC single ply on commercial buildings. Which one suits a roof depends on its slope, the structure underneath and how the building is used.
Yes. Tycho Solutions is a licensed roofing contractor holding Arizona ROC #364735, insured and bonded for residential and commercial roofing, carrying general liability and workers compensation coverage on every project.
Yes, new construction roofing for custom home builders and developers is a core part of the business. We review the roof plan before the deck goes on, quote from the drawings, and hold the dry-in date your schedule is built around.
A typical residential tile or shingle replacement runs a few working days from tear-off to final inspection. Foam and metal systems, larger homes, steep pitches and any deck repair found after tear-off extend that. We give you the schedule before the first tile comes off, and the project manager tells you the same day if anything changes it.
Yes, we roof across the Valley and throughout Arizona, wherever a new construction or full replacement project calls for a licensed roofing company that controls the entire assembly. If you are not sure whether your project falls inside our service area, reach out and we will confirm before anything is scheduled.
Yes. Flat and low-slope sections are usually the part of a Valley roof that fails first, and they are a different system entirely from the pitched areas. We handle them with spray foam or single ply, sprayed or laid to positive drainage so water leaves the roof rather than sitting on it.
