Mike returned my call for assistance within a few hours, he inspected the damage from the recent storm and sent me an estimate within hours. The work was completed the next day just ahead of more storms. He explained the entire process and was very professional. I hope I don’t need his services again anytime soon, but would not hesitate to trust the job to his team.

Tycho Solutions recently replaced the original tile roof on our 23 year old residence. We could not be more pleased with their level of professionalism and the quality of work. Mike and Brock were great in explaining the process, the type of materials used, and what to expect. Their crew was cordial, friendly, and efficient. At the end of each day they used a magnetic device to retrieve discarded nails and fasteners, made sure all debris was inside their dumpster, and used a blower to eliminate the inevitable dust that results from replacing a roof. At the end of the project, they did a roof-top inspection of the work to make sure all details were addressed. We felt their pricing was very reasonable with top-notch customer service. We have no hesitation to refer them to friends!

Interior Painting Services in Chandler

Chandler’s older single-story stucco homes were mostly built through the 1980s and 1990s with standard acrylic paint systems that weren’t designed for the sustained 110-degree-plus stretches the Valley sees most summers now. West and south walls chalk and fade years ahead of shaded elevations, and hairline stucco cracks that open up under that heat cycle let monsoon rain track behind the scratch coat.

Newer two-story homes in Chandler’s growth areas carry taller, larger stucco fields with more control joint per elevation, so a straight repaint or a like-for-like stucco patch doesn’t always hold the way it did on the smaller, single-story walls these systems were originally built for.

Expert Painting, Stucco & Drywall Services for Chandler’s Established Communities

Heat Rated Paint Systems

We spec elastomeric and high-heat acrylic coatings and match stucco texture and color coat by elevation, not by a single spec sheet.

Painting and Stucco Work We Do in Chandler

Chandler’s mix of established single-story neighborhoods and newer two-story developments calls for interior painting and drywall work suited to each home’s finish level and common HOA color standards.

Interior Painting in Chandler

Interior painting in Chandler covers full color changes, new-build finish coats, and whole-home repaints where trim, doors, and walls all get scheduled together. We prime new drywall to an even mil thickness before topcoat so flat and eggshell sheens don’t flash under the recessed lighting common in newer open floor plans, and we match existing wall color exactly on partial repaints.

Stucco Contractor in Chandler

As a stucco contractor in Chandler, we install full three-coat systems, lath to color finish, on new construction and additions, and we also tear out and re-stucco failing walls on older single-story homes down to the wire lath. Control joints get sized to the actual wall run so the new stucco moves the way the wall does, not against it, through Chandler’s summer heat swings.

House Painters in Chandler

Our house painters in Chandler work new construction, full repaints, and builder punch lists, indoors and out, as one crew instead of separate interior and exterior subs. On occupied homes we mask and tarp room by room so the household keeps functioning, and on new builds we sequence paint around drywall texture and cabinet install so nothing gets painted twice.

New Construction Painting in Chandler

New construction painting in Chandler runs on the builder’s schedule, not a repaint schedule: primer and finish coats go on behind framing, drywall, and cabinet install, timed so trades aren’t waiting on each other. We work directly off the builder’s paint spec and color schedule, keeping sheens and colors consistent unit to unit on multi-home phases and matched to trim and stucco color on custom builds.

Why Builders and Homeowners Choose Us for Interior Painting in Chandler

Chandler builders and homeowners work with Tycho because paint, drywall, and stucco run under one crew and one schedule, so color and texture match across a new build’s interior and exterior instead of being handled by three separate subcontractors on three different timelines.

Integrated Finishes

Interior and exterior work on your Chandler project is backed in writing, so a texture or color issue found after the final walkthrough gets fixed.

Luxury Quality

One crew sequences paint, drywall, and stucco on your Chandler build so trades stop waiting on each other and the punch list closes faster.

Desert Proven

We spec elastomeric coatings and Level 4 or 5 drywall finishes rated for Chandler’s heat and open floor plan lighting, not builder-minimum grade.

Licensed & Insured

Tycho carries Arizona ROC #364735, bonded and insured, on every Chandler paint, drywall, and stucco job we take on.

Painting and Stucco Across Chandler and the East Valley

Chandler’s stock splits by era: older single-story homes from the 1980s and 1990s built with three-coat stucco over wood lath and standard acrylic paint, and newer two-story tract construction near the city’s edges using larger stucco fields, taller elevations, and a one-coat or EIFS-style system over foam backing that moves differently under heat than the older three-coat assemblies.

On the older single-story homes, failure shows up at control joints and window returns where lath ties corrode and hairline cracks spread past the scratch coat, and on west and south elevations, where paint film chalks and fades years ahead of shaded walls under direct afternoon heat. On the newer two-story builds, the failure point shifts to parapet caps, floor-line expansion joints, and roofline terminations, since larger wall panels move more under thermal cycling than a single-story wall does.

Design review boards in Chandler’s newer development areas typically restrict exterior color to a narrow, pre-approved palette matched by lot, which limits how far a repaint can deviate from the block. Interior work has more latitude, but the open floor plans common in newer builds put drywall finish on display across long sightlines that older, compartmentalized single-story layouts never had, so a Level 4 or 5 finish is closer to baseline than upgrade.

Chandler builder schedules move fast, and our crews sequence paint, drywall, and stucco to hold the line.

Common Questions from Chandler Homeowners

What does interior painting in Chandler cost compared to exterior painting in Chandler?

Interior and exterior painting price out differently because they solve different problems: interior pricing tracks square footage, ceiling height, and how many colors and sheens are involved, while exterior pricing tracks wall area, surface condition, and how much prep and priming a stucco or trim surface needs before paint goes on. We walk the job and price off what we actually see, not a flat rate, so ask for a written estimate before comparing numbers.

A single hairline crack away from a corner or control joint can usually be routed, sealed, and touched up without redoing the field. Once cracking shows up at multiple points, around window returns, or along a control joint itself, a patch will telegraph through the new paint within a season or two because the surrounding coat is already failing at the same rate. At that point a full recoat of the wall plane is the honest call, not another patch.

Yes. Stucco terminations against a flat or low-slope roof, at a parapet cap, a shed roof tie-in, or a patio cover connection, are one of the more common failure points we see, because the termination detail has to shed water away from the wall assembly instead of trapping it behind the coating. We flash and counter-flash those transitions as part of the stucco install, not as an afterthought once the roofer’s already gone.

Yes. Commercial work runs on a different schedule than residential, usually after hours or in phases so a business can stay open, and it often means matching an existing brand color exactly across multiple elevations or tenant spaces. We coordinate with property managers and general contractors the same way we coordinate with homebuilders, and we can work new commercial construction or a full repaint on an occupied building.

Yes. Every crew works under Arizona ROC #364735, and we’re bonded and insured on every job, residential or commercial. Most paint work doesn’t require a City of Chandler permit, but structural drywall changes, new stucco systems on additions, and any work tied to a building permit for new construction do, and we pull those permits as part of the job rather than leaving it to the homeowner or builder.

Yes, both run under one crew and one contract. We hang, tape, and texture drywall to the finish level the plans call for, then move into primer and finish coats once the drywall has cured and been inspected, so there’s no gap between trades waiting on a separate painting sub to get scheduled. That sequencing is also why new-build punch lists close faster than when the two trades are hired separately.
