Tycho Solutions delivers solar installation across the Valley, from custom designed systems for new construction to full energy retrofits on existing homes and commercial buildings.
With over 300 days of sunshine a year, building a new home in Arizona without solar is a missed opportunity. Tycho Solutions is the solar company homeowners and builders across the region rely on for solar panel installation in Arizona, from ground up system design through utility activation.
Our team handles the entire process, from initial energy modeling and system design to permitting, inspection, and final activation with the utility. Every step is scheduled and inspected before we move to the next, so wiring never gets buried before it passes review.
Pre wired conduit runs and roof ready mounting points built into new construction before drywall goes up.
Solar equipped homes sell for about 4% more on average than comparable homes without a system.
Every system is engineered to your actual usage history, roof pitch, and shading pattern, not a generic template pulled off a shelf.
We install battery backup systems like the Tesla Powerwall and Enphase IQ Battery, storing excess solar production for use after sunset or during an APS or SRP outage. Capacity is sized to your actual overnight load, not a flat default number pulled off a spec sheet.
We coordinate with builders to pre wire conduit and mounting hardware during framing, cutting labor costs and keeping wiring out of sight in the finished home.
We install Level 2 EV chargers on a dedicated 240 volt circuit, tied into your solar system and battery so vehicle charging draws from your own production instead of the grid whenever possible.
We configure production and consumption monitoring through the inverter manufacturer’s app, so you can watch real time output and catch an underperforming panel or string early, before it costs you a full billing cycle of lost production.
We add panels, batteries, or a second inverter to an existing system once usage has grown past its original design capacity.
Arizona’s commercial sector runs on energy, and with utility rates climbing every year, locking in your own power source is one of the smartest capital investments a business owner can make.
From ground mount solar arrays to parking structure canopies and rooftop systems on commercial buildings, our team manages the full scope, from energy modeling through utility interconnection and final commissioning.
Solar carport structures that generate power while shading the vehicles parked underneath.
Ballasted and mechanically attached arrays for flat roof retail, office, warehouse, and industrial facilities.
Reduce or eliminate your electric bill. Most systems pay for themselves in 6 to 8 years.
Lock in your power cost against rising APS and SRP rates and reduce your exposure to grid instability.
Reduce your carbon footprint. One system offsets tons of CO2 over its life.
Homes with solar sell faster and for more. Studies show solar adds an average of 4% to property value.
We walk your roof or review your blueprints, pull twelve months of utility usage, and design a system sized to your actual consumption.
We pull the building and electrical permits, file the interconnection application with your utility, and handle every inspection requirement so the project stays on schedule.
Our certified crews mount racking, panels, and the inverter in 1 to 2 days for most residential systems, with minimal disruption to your roof or yard.
The local building inspector signs off, the utility installs your production meter, and we flip your system on.
We walk you through the monitoring app and hand off your equipment warranties and system documentation.

Most Arizona homeowners see significant reductions in their electric bill over the life of their system. Savings depend on your current usage, rate plan, and system size, which is why we build every quote off your actual utility bills instead of a regional average.
Your home draws power from the grid, or from your battery if you have one, whenever your panels aren’t producing enough. With utilities like SRP and APS, net metering and time of use rates both affect how much that backup power actually costs you over a full year.
Modern solar panels are designed to last 25 to 30 years or more, with very little degradation in performance over that time.
Yes. Studies show homes with solar sell for about 4% more than comparable non solar homes and often sell faster.
If your roof is nearing the end of its service life, we recommend a new roof before installing solar. As a licensed roofing and solar contractor, we can bundle both projects together and sequence the tear off, decking repair, and solar installation so the roof is never opened twice.
