Mike returned my call for assistance within a few hours, he inspected the damage from the recent storm and sent me an estimate within hours. The work was completed the next day just ahead of more storms. He explained the entire process and was very professional. I hope I don’t need his services again anytime soon, but would not hesitate to trust the job to his team.

Tycho Solutions recently replaced the original tile roof on our 23 year old residence. We could not be more pleased with their level of professionalism and the quality of work. Mike and Brock were great in explaining the process, the type of materials used, and what to expect. Their crew was cordial, friendly, and efficient. At the end of each day they used a magnetic device to retrieve discarded nails and fasteners, made sure all debris was inside their dumpster, and used a blower to eliminate the inevitable dust that results from replacing a roof. At the end of the project, they did a roof-top inspection of the work to make sure all details were addressed. We felt their pricing was very reasonable with top-notch customer service. We have no hesitation to refer them to friends!

Desert Landscaping for Maricopa

Artificial Turf Installation Services in Maricopa

Artificial Turf & Paver Installation in Maricopa, AZ

Maricopa’s growth has come almost entirely since 2000, so most backyards here started as bare dirt behind a block wall, not landscaping laid down by the builder. New owners inherit a graded pad and full desert sun with no shade, no turf and no patio, and at this elevation an unbuilt yard tracks dirt into the house year round.

Maricopa’s first growth-wave subdivisions are old enough now that their original sod lawns and gravel yards are failing on their own: patchy grass, cracked irrigation, and paver surfaces that have settled unevenly over compacted caliche. Those yards need a full turf, paver, or hardscape rebuild sized to how the family uses the space today.

Blank Lots To Finished Yards

We grade, compact and build every turf, paver and hardscape system to hold up against Maricopa’s caliche soil, full sun exposure and monsoon runoff.

Backyard Work We Design and Build in Maricopa

Maricopa’s newest subdivisions hand new homeowners a blank, unlandscaped lot, and Tycho Solutions builds the turf, pavers, and hardscape features that turn that lot into a finished backyard.

Artificial turf makes immediate sense in Maricopa. New construction homes save 40,000-60,000 gallons of water annually by choosing synthetic grass instead of sod. Your yard looks beautiful and finished from day one, eliminates irrigation system expenses, and requires zero maintenance as your family settles in. For established homes, turf conversion provides the same benefits with the added advantage of transforming existing yards instantly.

Outdoor Kitchen Builder in Maricopa

Maricopa’s long outdoor season makes a built-in kitchen one of the most-used features we add to a backyard. We build the block or steel frame, run gas and electrical to code, and set stone or stucco-finished counters around a grill, side burner and refrigerator island, positioned to shade from the pergola or patio cover so the cook isn’t standing in full sun at six in the evening.

Backyard Landscaping Contractor in Maricopa

As a backyard landscaping contractor in Maricopa, we plan the whole yard as one system: turf or gravel zones, paver paths, planting beds and drainage grading, so the pieces work together instead of getting added one at a time by different companies. On a new-construction lot that means a single design and install sequence from bare dirt to a finished, irrigated yard.

Pergola Builder in Maricopa

As a pergola builder in Maricopa, we size the structure to the sun angle on your specific lot, not a standard kit dimension. Cedar and powder-coated steel are the two frames we run most, either attached to the house over an existing patio or freestanding out past the turf line, with rafter spacing tight enough to knock real heat off the seating area by afternoon.

Putting Green Installation in Maricopa

Putting green installation in Maricopa works best on the larger lots common in the newer subdivisions, where we can shape real breaks and multiple cup positions instead of a flat practice strip. We build the base with the same compaction standard as our turf work, then layer a shorter-pile synthetic surface with a stimp speed in the range golfers expect, plus a fringe cut to separate it from the surrounding lawn.

Why Builders and Homeowners Choose Us for Artificial Turf Installation in Maricopa

Maricopa builders and homeowners call Tycho because our own crew compacts the base, lays the turf or pavers, and grades for drainage, all under one contract instead of three subs. Licensed under ROC #364735, every backyard system we build is engineered for this valley’s heat and clay, not a mild-climate catalog spec.

Pet & Family Friendly

Every turf seam, paver base and pergola footing we install in Maricopa carries a written warranty against settling or seam failure.

USA-Made Turf

One Tycho crew handles grading, base compaction, and finish work on your Maricopa backyard, so no sub-contractor hands the job off mid-project.

Proper Base Prep

We spec UV-stabilized turf, dense travertine and concrete pavers rated for Maricopa’s sun load, not the thinner products sold for milder climates.

Licensed & Insured

Tycho is licensed, bonded and insured under Arizona ROC #364735, so your backyard build in Maricopa is covered from permit to final walkthrough.

Backyard Construction Across Maricopa and Pinal County

Maricopa’s housing stock splits into two clear groups. The newest subdivisions, still filling in along the valley’s east and west edges, hand new owners a graded dirt lot with a block wall and nothing else, no turf, no patio, no shade structure. The established pockets from the early 2000s growth wave now carry aging sod lawns, cracked gravel yards and shade sails that have outlived their hardware. Both situations point to the same job: a full backyard build from the ground up.

The part of a Maricopa backyard build that determines whether it lasts is the base, not the surface. Skip proper aggregate compaction under turf or a paver patio and the caliche layer below grade will not drain a summer monsoon cell; the surface will pond, heave or wash out at the edges within a season or two. We compact in lifts and grade for drainage away from the house before we ever set turf or pavers.

Most Maricopa HOAs regulate what shows from the street: turf pile height and color, paver tone ranges, and setback limits on pergolas and shade structures. We pull those design guidelines before ordering material, since a color or height a step outside the approved range can hold up a project even after the city permit is issued.

Common Questions from Maricopa Homeowners

How much does a backyard remodel in Maricopa cost?

It depends on lot size, whether you’re starting from bare dirt or replacing an existing yard, and which mix of turf, pavers, pergola or outdoor kitchen you’re building. A straightforward turf and paver package runs differently than a full backyard remodel in Maricopa that adds a pergola and hardscape walls. We walk the lot, measure square footage for turf and paver areas, and give you a written quote before any material gets ordered, no verbal estimate over the phone.

If the irrigation lines are old, the grass is patchy in the same spots every year, and the water bill keeps climbing, a spot fix will not hold. Most of the yards we see in Maricopa’s established areas are past the point where a partial fix makes sense, and the more predictable path is artificial turf installation in Maricopa: pull the sod and irrigation, compact a proper base, and install a synthetic surface that does not depend on rain or a sprinkler timer to look right.

Yes. A flat or low-slope roof usually drains through scuppers or a single downspout instead of spreading water around the whole roofline, so that water hits one or two spots in the yard hard during a monsoon cell. Before paver patio installation in Maricopa starts, we map where your roof actually discharges and grade the base and paver joints to carry that volume away from the house instead of ponding at the patio edge.

Both. As a hardscape contractor in Maricopa we build for homeowners, but we also work with builders on model home backyards, HOA common areas and small commercial properties that want turf, pavers or shade structures out front. The scope changes, larger square footage, sign-off from a property manager or builder rep instead of a single homeowner, but the base work and materials are the same standard.

Yes. Tycho Solutions is licensed, bonded and insured under Arizona ROC #364735, and we pull the permits ourselves rather than asking the homeowner to file. A pergola builder in Maricopa needs a structural permit once the footing depth and attachment method are set, and an outdoor kitchen builder in Maricopa needs separate gas and electrical permits before a grill or refrigerator gets connected. We handle both through the city and, where the lot falls under Pinal County jurisdiction, through the county instead.

As a backyard landscaping contractor in Maricopa, we scope the whole yard in one contract: grading and drainage, turf or paver surfaces, a pergola or shade structure if you want one, and a putting green installation in Maricopa if that’s part of the plan, all sequenced by the same crew instead of separate subs showing up on separate weeks. You get one point of contact and one schedule from bare dirt to a finished yard.
